Whom do I contact for general information about INSEAD OnLine and INSEAD?
Login Problems
Login Error occurs because of incorrect login or password. Please note that all logins are case sensitive (lower case only). If you still get login error mail to tech@inseadonline.com, they will provide you correct login and password.
If you get an error message as below, it means you have not yet been given permission to access the course, so please contact your coordinator or mail to tech@inseadonline.com
The error message is:
Javascript Error: TypeError: table[0] has no properties launch_course.js(Line 18)
Blank screen comes when logged to INSEAD Online portal
This is because of company firewall or settings by the internet provider.These firewalls won't allow you to access insead online site. Sometimes a new page will be displayed asking for a password to access the site, this password will be provided by your IT department. So please contact your IT professionals or Internet provider to deal with this problem.
Blank screen comes when course is launched
This problem occurs because of many issues. Change your system setting to below and try again.
Step1:
• Click the 'Tools' menu on your browser
• Select 'Internet Options'
• Click the 'Security' tab.
For the Internet zone, be sure that the Security level is set to 'Medium' or below. (If you have chosen to customize your security settings for the Internet zone, be sure that under the 'Java' heading, 'Java permissions' is not set to 'Disable Java'. You will want to select one of the three safety levels instead. Also be sure that under the Scripting heading, 'Scripting of Java Applets' is set to 'Enable' or 'Prompt'). Click OK to close the 'Security Settings' dialog
• Next, click the 'Advanced' tab.
Scroll down till you see the sub heading 'Java VM'. Check the boxes next to 'Java logging enabled' and 'Java console enabled'. (Note: If you checked the box next to 'Java JIT compiler enabled' and are experiencing freezing problems, uncheck that box)
• Click OK to close the 'Internet Options' dialog.
Step2:
• Click the 'Tools' menu on your browser
• Select 'Internet Options'
• Click the 'Security' tab.
• Click on 'Custom Level' button.
• In the Security Setting, Scroll down till you see the sub heading 'Scripting'
Check the boxes next to 'Active Scripting', 'Allow paste operations via script' and 'Scripting of Java applets'
Click OK and yes to change the settings.

Some of the links in the course do not work
This is due to Popup Blockers. Disable the popupblocker or try to change the
blocker setting to low or
use Cntrl key + Enter to access the link.
Cannot see next navigation buttons in the course
Text size and screen resolution are the reasons for it.
Text size should be medium and screen resolution should be 1024 by 768 Pixels.
The bookmarking function does not seem to work (only relevant for certain courses)
Please check for the following settings
• Click the 'Tools' menu on your browser
• Select 'Internet Options'
• Click the 'Security' tab.
• Click on 'Custom Level' button.
• In the Security Setting, Scroll down till you see the sub heading 'Scripting'
Check the boxes next to 'Active Scripting', 'Allow paste operations via script' and 'Scripting of Java applets'
Click OK and yes to change the settings.

If the bookmarking function still does not work, some courses offer a manual index on the front page.
The status symbol on the portal page does not show that I completed the course
This symbol is not directly linked to the tracking of the course and should be
ignored.
